Dead Flat 1988

The dead have, by definition, no affect. However, I used to work in an Emergency Room and I know that there is a very particular expression in the faces of those that die a sudden, violent death. It is as though the last moment is frozen in the rigor of the face, fading only after the time it takes to realize you are dead.

This is the first mask I ever tried in wood. It lacks the plasticity I am used to.
