I wear this one every Halloween, in hopes that the wood sprites will come for a final play before the winter hibernation. In 1996 I wore it on the back of my head. By the end of the night an equal number of people had addressed the front and the back.
This is the earliest mask I made and still have. I made it when I was a Blacksmith in Rockport, on view all day to the tourists. In the evening I made this. This mask represents, for me, the fool.
