I started playing soccer when I was going into first grade, the fall of 1992. When I started I played forward and then I was introduced to the joys of getting dirty and grimy as well as being the hero of certain games in the goal. The next season I had a different coach who already had a goalie but needed a sweeper so I began to play that and then continued to play that until the spring of 1998, when I was finishing sixth grade. At that time I began to play forward again as well as goalie, a much needed player for the team at that point. Now, the spring of 1999 I think that I might have found my permanent position as the goalie and hardly ever play anything else. I hope to continue to play all through high school, make the varsity team, and then into college.
